The "Good Trouble" Service Leadership Scholarship Award
The "Good Trouble" Service Leadership Scholarship Award is a non-academic, merit-based award for high school students who have demonstrated a strong commitment to civil liberties and social justice advocacy. Activities include community service, school activities, and leadership opportunities throughout their high school career that fosters a sense of belonging, where historically marginalized members feel seen, heard, respected, and celebrated. Two $750 scholarships are awarded annually. Students must complete an application for consideration. Haddon Township Equity Initiative (HTEI) is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt non-profit corporation registered in the State of New Jersey. HTEI received its IRS federal tax-exemption status in November 2021, effective from April 2021 onwards with a public charity status of 509(a)(2). Monetary donations to HTEI since this date are tax-deductible and a formal acknowledgement letter for your donation will be sent during the year-end reporting cycle.
